We defend the human right to access the Internet as a basic tool for action and social inclusion; therefore, our network always promotes social, solidarity, and collaborative economy, and develops the information and communication society while eliminating the digital divide between rural and urban areas.

What is the Pontils Network like?
Open
The network is open to anyone, entity, administration, or operator who wants to access it, without discrimination.
Free
Those who connect can engage in economic, social, cultural activities, contribute or exchange content.
Neutral
We ensure the non-interference of any public or private entity in the content that circulates and in the technology used.
How does the shared network work?

The necessary investment to carry out the project is achieved through many agents, including the citizens themselves, the Guifi.net Foundation, and the Pontils City Council.

By making a contribution, you help grow the project and ensure that the network is shared and reaches all neighbors.

Moreover, this contribution allows you to enjoy a monthly reduction, for life, on your monthly rate.
If you want to connect to the Pontils Network, you have the option to eliminate the concept of 'line fee' from your monthly billby making a contribution of XXXX€. By making this contribution:

You will coverthecost of bringingthe network to your home or business.

You will never have to pay for this concept with operators again.

It means enjoying adiscount of XX€on the billmonthly for fiber optics.
You decide. In the shared network of Pontils, we inform and give the user the option to permanently eliminate the cost of 'line fee' which is XX€ monthly, that is, XXX€ every year.
If you make the donation of XXXX€, after XX years you will have already amortized the amount.
If you don't, you will pay these XX€ always as with the rest of the telecommunications companies.
It is not mandatory to make a contribution, as long as other resources or a good part of the financing from the other participants are found to cover the project.
It is important to know that in this way, you also help extend the network to the rest of the neighbors in the area, thus making Internet accessible to everyone and eliminating the digital divide.
HOW
You have two ways to make the payment:

Or, you have the option to do it through the SEPA mandate. We will send you the document that orders the bank direct debit on paper.
WHEN
You have the possibility to make the contribution:

In a single payment (XXXX€)

Or, in two installments (XXX*2) or up to three payments (XXX*3).
In case of being in installments, the payments must be made during the months following the first payment. You can make half of the payment before installation and the other half once connected.
